Muso First: The Mamas ‘Dancefloor’ Release and 2020 Tour

Big announcement folks; ultra sass queens, The Mamas, are giving you a serving of your favourite, hearty meal - new music - with a deathly sweet night cap - a multi state tour.

The go-go boot stomping, sequin and velvet clad boss ladies will be satisfying your maternal and dance-party yearnings in 2020 with some massive events for your diary.

The Mamas are turning up the nurture by gifting you their new single, Dancefloor, as well as a headline tour across NSW, ACT and VIC from January to March.

Consider your New Year resolutions already fulfilled.

‘Melt away to ripper harmonies and soul power,’ tick.

January 24th will see The Mamas release the latest music to come from the group since their celebrated debut EP Juicy. If that wasn’t enough, they're prepping their live catalog with never-before-heard belters for the tour.

These sultry jokesters are kicking it all off with the launch party of our dreams. Held at Northcote Social Club, January 24th will see the start to their tour and the drop of Dancefloor - literally happening on the dance floor…perf.

The tour will include stops in Geelong, Ballarat, Macedon, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, San Remo and Melbourne, culminating on March 1st with shows at Mordi Fest and the Sydney Road Street Party.

If you’re aching to catch the dazzling 8 piece share their motherly advice in the flesh, you can catch the tour details below and buy your tix here.

COVID-19: Things to spark inspiration while social-distancing

The only plus side of some psycho virus out there stopping us all from playing gigs and slamming on the industry we love, is that we’ve been given the ticket to a one-way forced staycation. A journey of artistic discovery, where one slows down in order to keep up and come out the other side. Where finding new ways to be creative will keep you from falling into the decline of insanity.
